Ideally situated at the end of a country lane, in a haven of peace and tranquillity, the property enjoys the most pleasant isolation in the village of Vallabrègues, the historic cradle of basket-making. This Occitan village of narrow streets, stone buildings and lush vegetation is a reflection of the region and its mild Mediterranean climate.
You'll be halfway between Nîmes, Avignon and Arles. So you can reach the Gard's major cities in less than 30 minutes. Not to mention the charming villages and towns of Boulbon, Tarascon, Beaucaire, Les Baux-de-Provence and Maussane-les-Alpilles.
You'll also be close to the Luberon massif (particularly popular with sports enthusiasts for its hiking potential, as well as its exceptional villages and panoramas).

We have been very fortunate to stay in some lovely hotels in the last few years, and each time we wonder how our experience can be bettered.
We have just spent 7 amazing nights at this villa and we have a new benchmark!
This beautifully restored Provençal building is absolutely stunning throughout, maintaining its traditional architecture with stylish modernisation and works of art.
From the stylish interiors, to the gorgeous landscaped gardens, everything has been completed to the highest standards. The guest rooms are incredible.
We were lucky to spend our stay in The Pool Lodge, which has a private garden, complete with its own swimming pool. It also has a small kitchen, which we used to prepare lunch, make coffee etc.
What really sets this property apart from other hotels, is the service provided by the two owners. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like house guests, not just hotel guests. From preparing and serving the delicious daily breakfast, to recommending local restaurants and attractions, nothing was too much trouble. On top of this, every other night they prepare a delicious 3 course dinner, which we enjoyed on 4 occasions.
This really is a 5* experience, and we would have no hesitation in returning.
