Indoors
This property has been designed to promote your wellbeing, from the elegant and airy rooms to the wellness area (with hammam, sauna and various treatment rooms for you to prioritise you).
There are 12 bedrooms across seven separate buildings in the one-and-a-half-acres property: the Governor’s House, three cottages, a guest house, and the old fortress tower.
It has all been thoughtfully created with sustainable materials including rock flooring, white and grey marble and neutral beige and teak wood floors. Its clean-lined architecture is synonymous with the South of France, but the property’s significance runs much deeper than that.
You can reveal its medieval history as you host dinner for extended family and friends, and launch momentous parties that overlook an idyllic pool dotted with water lilies.
Outdoors
You will sink into a relaxed state of mind as soon as you arrive to the gates of Le Grand Jardin.
You will appreciate the hot stone walkways that lead from the tranquil and trickling the natural pond with its water lilies to the 14,000m2 olfactive botanical garden that calls for slow strolls in the Mediterranean heat.
You can also enjoy the beautiful heated swimming pool (7 x 7 metres - Depth 1.5 metre) at your leisure.
Life doesn’t get any sweeter than at Le Grand Jardin. You will wake up and smell the roses, strolling through an abundant garden to handpick ingredients for harvesting before each meal. Its sprawling fruit and vegetable beds are hemmed in with olive and lemon trees.
You will be able to dine al-fresco on long tables adorned with roses and irises plucked from the gardens or tuck into citrusy cocktails at the sun-drenched outdoor bar.
Staff & Services
The price includes : daily full luxury breakfast for all guests (as per the breakfast menu), daily Afternoon Delight service (light snack / afternoon tea), selected water -soft drinks - coffee and Teas at disposal (specific brands at extra charge), house manager services (coordinating your stay and assisting with your concierge requests - 8hrs presence per day), housekeeping (Make-up and Turn-Down service), chef service staff during mealtimes, night shift (1 person, drinks service, can be on call upon request), grocery shopping (charged at cost, except for Breakfast and Afternoon delight which is included), arrival and departure from the closest airport (Nice) for all guests by car / minibus (same time) followed by boat transfer, 4 return trips daily from the Island to Cannes/Sainte-Marguerite Island for all guests and Spa Therapist services.
The staffing above is included for the number of guests mentioned on the contract and for : one daily breakfast service, one daily 3 courses lunch service, one daily 3 courses dinner service.
Note that the afternoon delight is served by the concierge staff.
For any additional services; for example but not limited to : breakfast served at multiple times; outside guests (for ex-ample teachers lunch, external guests, dinner parties), extended menus (for example multi course or gala dinners); the villa reserves the right to invoice and source additional staffing member and / or additional work hours. This will be clearly communicated during the stay planning by the reservation team or on-site house manager.
