In summary
Casa do Colmo is a pleasant 1,000 m² country house set within 10,000 m² of private grounds, in the pine and dune countryside of Brejos da Carregueira, between Comporta and Carvalhal. It is made up of several whitewashed pavilions with reed roofs and glass walls, linked by wooden walkways that wind through a dune garden planted with olive trees, pines and ornamental grasses. It sleeps up to fourteen guests in seven bedrooms. Three living rooms, a dining room and several outdoor areas provide space for shared meals and group gatherings. A pool that can be heated, a tennis court, a gym and a yoga/Pilates studio complete the property. This is an ideal setting for a relaxing stay in Portugal.

Indoors
The property is made up of several pavilions linked by wooden walkways.
At the centre of the main house, an old olive tree grows inside a glass atrium, with the living spaces arranged around it. Timber-beamed reed ceilings, pale floors and natural materials create understated interiors, complemented by artworks chosen for each room.
The property has three living rooms. The main lounge is spacious and includes a reading corner. A TV room looks onto a courtyard planted with cacti, and a small sitting room houses a piano. The house also has a fireplace. The dining room seats fourteen around one long table. The fully equipped kitchen has a large wooden table and a breakfast bar.
A wooden pavilion houses a gym with fitness equipment, as well as a yoga and Pilates studio. Both spaces open onto the garden.
Outdoors
You can enjoy a beautiful pool that can be heated* (25 × 5 m, maximum depth 1.6 m). It is lined with a wooden deck, sun loungers and parasols set beneath the olive trees, and extends into a shaded cabana with daybeds. Opposite, the pool house has a kitchen, a bar and a round table.
Closer to the house, vine-covered pergolas shelter two outdoor lounges and a dining table for fourteen.
There are plenty of leisure facilities, including a tennis court, a beach volleyball court, a ping-pong table and garden rope swings, among others.
A five-space car park is also available.

Location
The house is located in Brejos da Carregueira de Cima, in a countryside of pines and dunes between Comporta and Carvalhal. The village centre and a café are 3.5 km away. The nearest sandy beach is 7.5 km away, a few minutes by car.
