Casa da Aurora welcomes up to 12 guests in a lovingly restored mansion in the heart of Alcácer do Sal, in Alentejo. Reflecting Portuguese and international design, this 100-year-old residence elegantly combines heritage, antiques and iconic contemporary furniture. Six characterful suites, convivial living spaces, a citrus garden with a swimming pool and a dedicated team provide the ideal setting for relaxing stays with family or friends. Just 30 minutes from the beaches of Comporta and an hour from Lisbon, this property combines refinement, authenticity and conviviality.

The house has six unique suites (ranging from 25 to 54 m²) designed for comfort and privacy. Each one has its own identity, thanks to a subtle blend of colours, refined fabrics and works of art, some of which were created by the owners' family.

Indoors

The communal living spaces embody a unique aesthetic, the result of a dialogue between Portuguese tradition and modern design. The bright living room is adorned with pieces by Mario Bellini, Marc Newson and Patricia Urquiola, and bathed in skilfully orchestrated lighting effects. The intimate dining room and fully equipped kitchen invite you to share. A library and cosy spaces complete the ensemble, perfect for moments of conviviality or calm.


Outdoors

At the heart of the house lies a secret garden filled with the scent of citrus fruits, a true haven of serenity. The beautiful swimming pool (6 x 2.5m - Depth: 1.2m) and its sun loungers promise refreshing afternoons, while the outdoor dining area and yoga corner offer moments of well-being to be enjoyed throughout the day. This enclosed garden, protected from view, invites you to relax and meditate under the Alentejo sun.


Staff & Services

The two housekeepers, who are present from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., take care of every detail in the house.
The price includes daily housekeeping and breakfast (served at the time of your choosing).
Upon request and for an additional fee, the villa can offer additional services: organisation of private cruises on the Sado River, yoga or a private chef...

The villa overlooks the centre of Alcácer do Sal, a lively and authentic town rich in history and tradition. Just a stone's throw from the market and restaurants, the house offers quick access to picturesque streets and the banks of the Sado River. The wild beaches of Comporta and the Troia Peninsula are only 30 minutes away, and Lisbon is an hour's drive. An ideal starting point for exploring the Alentejo, with its culture, nature and Portuguese way of life.
