Indoors
The walls, covered in tadelakt in hand-patinated café au lait shades, bring the whole villa together and lend it an almost tactile warmth. The main living room, bathed in vibrant orange hues, has a cosy atmosphere. The dining room seats up to twelve guests. Adjoining this space, a bar clad in black zellige creates a more intimate and sophisticated ambience.
The whole space reflects meticulous attention to detail, where local craftsmanship — tadelakt, zellige and handcrafted furniture — is beautifully showcased.
Outdoors
The pool, which can be heated*, forms the heart of outdoor living, complemented by a shaded seating area adjoining the house, ideal for retreating to during the hottest part of the day. A spacious shaded terrace, adjoining the pool, features a large table seating twelve people as well as a spacious bar, allowing meals and socialising to continue outdoors. A pizza oven adds a convivial touch, perfect for evenings with friends.
The property also features a pétanque court, adding a fun and relaxed atmosphere to the whole setting. The car park can accommodate up to three cars.
*Between November and March, the swimming pool can be heated on request and at an additional cost.
Staff & Services
The villa benefits from the attentive service of a team comprising a villa manager, a cook/housekeeper (who does a bit of daily cleaning) and a gardener.
For your meals, the following option is available:
- "En liberté" option (breakfast, lunch, dinner): You pay the cost of the shopping. The staff will therefore take care of the shopping and cook using the ingredients purchased.
Notes:
- The cook’s working hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. If you have requested dinner to be prepared: as the staff leave the premises at 5.00 pm, you will be responsible for reheating it yourselves.
- Shopping: this can be done by you or by the staff. If the staff take care of it, the shopping will be done at the local grocer’s (the total bill must be paid to the grocer).
- The staff will not purchase alcohol or speciality items (French products or otherwise). For these types of purchases, you will need to visit the major retailers yourselves.
Location
The villa is set amongst a forest of argan trees in the countryside surrounding Essaouira, offering you an unspoilt natural setting, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, whilst remaining within easy reach of the region’s main attractions.
Diabat Beach, renowned for its laid-back atmosphere and its history linked to the music scene of the 1960s, is thirteen kilometres from the villa, as is the golf course, which is the same distance away. This proximity means that water sports enthusiasts and golfers alike can easily enjoy their favourite activities.
The town of Essaouira, with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed medina, historic ramparts and bustling fishing harbour, is situated seventeen kilometres from the villa.
